AND SET TO GO FOR 2010

 With
the annual speedway awards banquet wrapping up another action packed
year of racing at Joe Callavini’s Sundance Vacations Speedway last
weekend, the veteran Promoter has never been so excited about the
upcoming racing season. 2010, marks Callavini’s eleventh season of
promoting asphalt stock car racing at the popular 1/3 mile oval
located in St. Johns, PA., which provides great entertainment,
without breaking the family budget.

MUTHA OF ALL ENDURO WINS
NEETS
 The
North East Enduro Tour Series (NEETS) final dirt event of the season
took place on Saturday at Grandview Speedway with the popular “Mutha
of all Enduros” event. John Saccomandi scored his first career win
in four-cylinder action and Dave Bentley, Jr. secured the division
championship. Tim Pauch not only took the 6/8-cylinder victory, but
also claimed the division championship.

HONORED AT AWARDS CEREMONY
SUNDANCE
Under
the tenth season of operation with Hazleton’s Joe Callavini at the
helm, Sundance Vacations Speedway held its annual awards banquet
Saturday at Best Western Genetti Inn & Suites in Hazleton, PA.
Nearly three hundred people were in attendance, including crew
members, friends and family members of racers that compete at the
1/3-mile asphalt oval in St. Johns, PA. Along with the presentation
of special awards, the end of the year celebration was held to
recognize the top points finishers each of the track’s divisions.

the sluggish economy, the slew of entertainment opportunities
available to fans and the increased costs related to short track
auto racing, the Third Annual Promoters Summit will bring together
promoters and others involved in the industry as part of the 25th
annual Motorsports 2010 Presented by StreetBlaze 100 Race Car &
Trade Show on Friday, January 22nd.
