Mahoning
Valley Speedway Gets Back to Action After Weekend Break
After a week off from
racing Mahoning Valley Speedway returns to action this coming Saturday
night, September 19 at 6:00 p.m.
The night will be
highlighted with a pair of Modified features. The first will be a make-up
35-lapper that was postponed from July 11. The evening’s regular scheduled
event will then be run.
Late Models, Street Stocks,
Pro4 Late Models and Dirt Modifieds will also be in action.
Additionally the XCEL 600cc
Modifieds will be racing at the track for the final time this season.
On September 26 the Late
Models will a run twin 25-lap show which includes the make-up race from July
25 in addition to the regular slated feature.
All regular track classes
plus the 4c Super Modifieds and National Old Timers Auto Racing Club will
also be competing.
On October 3 and 31 are the
final three 100-lap events of the Modified 100 Poker Series. October 3 will
consist of Hands Three and Four of the Modified 100 Poker Series. Hand three
still has 63 laps to be run after the original show was halted back on July
25 due to rain. Hand Four was initially set for August 22 but that show was
also washed out as well.
That same evening the Late Models, Pro4’s and Dirt Mods will run their final
point race of the season. All those aforementioned classes along with the
Street Stocks will run for double points also.
The final point race for
the Street Stocks will be on October 31 which will be the rain delayed July
25 feature. That same day the streeters will face off in a season ending
100-lapper paying $1000 to win.
